When I open the top the “marble” rolls and the light turns on. When the lid is closing, the “marble” rolls and the light goes off. It works…. Just surprised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by J and S from Happy Customer There is much to like about this freezer, the adjustable temperature, the red and green visible lights to show the unit is powered and at temperature, the illumination on the lid to provide interior light and the multi-level storage bins to arrange food items. The lid is counterbalanced to stay in position when open and the size is really ideal for our use. The storage bins are metal, but the clips that hold the basket in position are plastic. Our unit is 2 weeks old, so I have no opinion on the reliability of the unit over time. The delivery and removal of our old unit was efficient and the crew was respectful. We are happy with the purchase that fit our needs.
